Art is man's greatest invention.
Art has the power to change people's minds, inspire and provoke.
A piece of art can store vast amounts of information about the historical, socio-political and cultural context it was created in.
Through Art, artists  are able to create new artificial realities existing in parallel with the one we live in .
Artists were  once considered prophetic figures, spiritual leaders and even embodiments of God.

This Blog is going to be about my fascination with Art.
In it I plan to study what inspires me.
It is going to be a journey towards deeper knowledge and understanding of Art,
acquired through intuition, research and reasoning.

I have chosen "Busy Being Born" as a title for this blog, as a manifest of my will to be active, creative and full of zeal.
To continue my search for self-expression and self-reinvention.

And finally this Blog has come to being thanks to my tutors at the University of Bradford who have stimulated and encouraged me to start it and through their lectures provided the basis for my further research.
